can anyone help me via pics or detais on how to install my elevator servo into the plastic bracket Some cut a piece out of the bracket so the servo will fit. I have seen pics from Dr Evil on this. I think the issue is the servo wire won't fit into the bracket without some strain. Mine was ARTF and it is one thing I did not rebuild. If it was me I would just take the back of the servo so the wire can be moved then install it into the bracket and put the servo back together. I hope this answers your question.

Thanks soooo much guys! the pics are a big help. And i probably will modify the bracket a little so as not to interfer with the servo wires. Chris, congrats on your wedding! i hope you had a blast on the islands and wanna wish you and your wife a very happy life together!

I tried cutting away on mine and it ended up cracking when I put the screws in - I spent the $10 and got the metal align part and it fit perfectly

Anyone using the ds601m servos with this bracket. The servo comes to the very end of the bracket. my wire cord of the servo is right at the end of the bracket where i will be screwing to the frame. anyone have a problem mounting it this way. Chris, you align servos seem to fit perfect and Doc. E your mod looks to serve its purpose for a dif. size servo. I just think it isnt right with the ds601m

Big, the elev. servo mounting bracket you have looks alittle different than the one I have on my 600. I noticed that yours has a cut out on the sides and I am also wondering if the height of it is shorter as well unless your servo is taller. In any case, I have a easy solution to your problem. Looks like the issue you're facing is that once the servo is mounted on the bracket and when trying to mount the whole thing to the frame the wire of the servo will hit the frame...is this correct? If so, try and add a spacer or two between the servo and the mounting bracket before mounting it onto the frame. This should bring the servo wire a bit closer into the mounting bracket.
