Of course you would post this the week after I buy a Dubro prop balancer I even have a couple of dead hard drives laying around and a metal lathe to make the shaft

Haaaaa ha! I had the whole thing done in about 10 mins. It took 10 times that to do the video! I'm thinking of buying a hexacopter next so it will come very handy balancing all those props. And thanks Doc121 your welcome.

Haha yea it worked out well and as I said everyone has had a HD fail. The one I used was lying on the shelf about 2 years ( 400 gig ). I knew there was magnets in it but I thought the only ones was the motor. 2 Mins of stripping is all it took. The day before I spent about an hour looking up Neodymium magnets on ebay!
