I tried doing build video's with the Chaos 450 and Chaos 600E which I screwed up .Not the heli's,the video's haha.. I bought a tri-pod for my camcorder but it was very short and had to sit on the table I was building the heli on.Ended up bumping it a few time's during both build's and half the build was out of view ..Good news is I have a really nice tri-pod now which doesn't do me any good for the 450 and 600E but i'll do a good build video on the Chaos 550E .This tri-pod will adjust as tall as I am so I can put it all the way up and point the camcorder down at the table..My buddy just crashed his son's older Trex 600E so bad it's a rekit so im trying to talk him into buying a Chaos 600E kit.If he does,i'll talk him into letting me do a build video with it so we'll see..

The Chaos 600E isn't a clone.Clone mean's the exact same and it isn't. Chaos 600E has thicker/stronger frame's,wider frame spacing for bigger motor's which no other 600E has ...

I second, I mean triple that. From working on a 600 with a friend, The Chaos is, although a close clone, it cannot be compared to exi, trex or any others. Side by side to a trex your getting a better value and to boot mostly all trex parts fit so you still have the LHS support for parts to get back flying. Really anything is a DNA clone of everything else but what sets the Chaos line apart is the added features that come standard. The thicker wider frame, the carbon blades, the support, and the ability to offer all that at a cheaper price. HK is junk, TREX is overpriced and in the middle is Chaos which offers the same as TREX, added features, at a much better value. Like anything if you are unsure of the combo parts go with the kit and customize the electronics. Youll be happy. That was the only thing my friend was unsure of. He got the combo and it works but he is a long term guy looking at upgrading already so he would have been better of with the kit. Simply look at the difference in price, You get better quality and have tons of leftover cash to BLING it out later. The KDE upgrades are a really good upgrade from the start. ESP the main gear.

Great way to put that, totally agree and not b/c I own a Chaos but b/c when I did my research when looking to buy a 600...the "buck" stopped at RCA's door steps! No one realizes till you see the actual kit sitting in front of you, especially "clone haters". It's all good, you can't get everyone to agree on something sometimes but hey...like someone once said "you spend your money your way and I'll spend mine my way"! 3f Pilot, a solution to your buddy's extra combo parts....when he is ready to upgrade his 600 and all the electronics pull from it can go into the new "550". Yes, the new Chaos 550 will be out anytime now so I would say...buy the 550 kit and use the 600 electronics on it and then he can upgrade anything he wants into his 600. See...that was simple huh?? LOL
