Just a very general question, when planning a 500/600 build is there any reason to prefer an Align (ESP) donor vs a Chaos donor? I see references to different frame widths, but does this cause any problems with the RCA fuses or are both equally suitable? Anything else I should worry about? I'm only interested in the comparison as it pertains to a scale build, I'm not trying to compare any other aspects of Align vs Chaos so no need to defend any turf Thanks for any help.

The Chaos will work perfect and is actually the soul reason RCA created this brand/line in the first place so that ppl wouldn't have to spend the extras for a Trex. As far as the wider main frame which are only in the 550 and up models should not effect going into any of the fuse design for their sizes. The idea of the wider main frames came up by RCA is due to many ppl out there modifying their Trex to be able to adopt to a larger motor by adding spacers. So instead of adding spacers, the extra width was achieved by making everything between the 2 carbon frames a bit wider. Hope this helps....

Thanks, yes that does help. I can see why the frame spacing was made wider now. I guess my concern was raised by seeing a few builds with the new torque tube mechanics, where the tail drive Bearing blocks appeared to be spaced out with washers as the supplied blocks were designed for the narrower Align frame spacing. I've since seen reference to additional spacers being included in the kits but I was wondering if you can achieve the same degree of security with the spacers as you could with the bearing blocks direct to the frame? I guess it must be working even though it looks a little less than ideal

What size machine and what scale fuselage do you plan on building? I am about to start my fifth RCA scale build. Like Evil said the Chaos line was brought in to make scale builds affordable. You will be Extremely happy with the quality of the RCA fuses

I'm leaning towards the 600 sized Eurocopter Tiger.
Looks like it is not too challenging from a building perspective but still has plenty of potential for detail work over time.
If so then it will be a 4 blade head and 3 blade tail hence my question in the other forum.
