I have had my Black Widow FBL head on my 600 for a while, but I had it with my AR7200BX (which is now on my 550). I am in the process of setting up the Black Widow FBL unit on my 600 now and I am running into issues. When I initially put the head on I had to adjust the links to get 0 pitch at mid stick, but I know everything was not 90 as it should be. So I removed all the links and set them to stock length per the Trex 600 ESP manual. When I put the head on I am either +8 or -8 depending on the mounting hole in the head that is used. As we know the links from the aileron lever to the swash can be adjusted, but the elevator is fixed. Adjustments can be made at the servo to the levers but then the levers will not be 90 anymore. I am really confused here so any help is greatly appreciated.

I took this pic yesterday to help another here. I got - + 12 deg with 0 deg at 50%. Use middle hole. There is also a bit of adjustment on the links of the BW head but I did not use that. Attachments:

Outstanding, thank you very much. Now I can't wait to get off work so I can try to get this set up!
Any idea what your measurements were on the elevator links?

No problem mate. Do let us know how you get on. I have both my Elev and Ail pots set to 11 o'clock. Try that setting first and go from there.

Your measurements worked perfectly! Unfortunately something must have been set wrong in the BW gyro because it flipped when trying to lift off the ground. Everything was correcting right so I am not sure what happened. I've decided to set it aside for now, I might end up selling it as-is and just have the 550 as my big bird.

Oh no. Sounds like you had one or both cyclics reversed. Much the same way if you had the tail gyro reversed it will spin like crazy as soon as it lifts off.
