something not quite set right
have the 115A Phoenix ESC and when you plug the battery in and it is doing the cell count the main rotor twitches (rotates just barely) - also does it when you go from throttle hold to normal.

Both my 100A and 115A does the same thing, I think it's just the way Phoenixtech ESCs are. Not sure if other brands do this but it never does anything more than a twitch but if you're not use to seeing that, I can understand the concern.

The ESC does not have a speaker. Instead it sends a pulse to the motor which makes the tone sound. It is normal.

If it is a design feature then I am fine with it - didn't want something to be off and not corrected.
Thanks

Check the throttle travel in your Tx. Mine did the same thing & when I looked at the throttle travel graph on the Tx display it was not going from 0 to 100% but more like 15% to 85%. After adjusting the throttle to max range it worked OK. I did rebind the receiver after the change to reset failsafes. Hope this helps.

I don't think it is anything unusual. The HobbyWing ESC's pulse the motor, just a bit, when they beep, also.
