OK all you multi blade rotor head folks, I need some help. I put together a 450 size Apache with a 4 blade Lightning Heli head. Test flight of the mechanics before installation in fuse went way better than I thought it would. It only needed a couple clicks on the aileron to be at a stable hover (no stabilization) My problem comes in here. Every time I spool up the heli does a fast 90 degree CCW rotation before it stabilizes. Any ideas why ? AND, how do I correct it. This is my first multiblade set-up so any advice is greatly appreciated.

action = reaction...
1) Do you have rubber landing skid nuts on your skids?
2) If possible set your ESC to softstart or even super softstart.

Hi,qmaverick. Yes I left the rubber skid nuts on the skids I have on for testing. I will take them off & see if it makes a difference. ESC is set to soft start. It has a very soft start-up. Start-up is slow & smooth. I was surprised because I used a Hobbywing esc I had laying around. Thanks for the reply

If you take the nuts off, it will prolly go 180 degrees...
Since the Apache has a tailwheel, it might not slide so easy as the skids.
Make certain it is strong enough to hold when you spool up...

Is there any way to prevent this from happening to begin with? Or is it just the nature of multiblade head set-ups ( without stabilization) to swing the tail like that?

Not so much the nature of the multiblade I guess, more the nature of physics.
4 blade rotor head with blades, is more mass then a 2 blade, so you need more power to get it to turn.
(hit a balloon with your hand and it will move, hit a tennisball and it will move too, but you will feel the extra force needed...)
And since the heli is still the same mass, it will react more then it did with the 2 blade rotorhead.
