Just wondering if anyone here also plays with rc boats. I have been wanting to get an electric f1 tunnel hull boat pretty badly recently. As soon as I can sell my 700e conversion I plan on snaging one up. Just curious on who's tinker with them.

James, don't you start that...LOL. I am still working on getting my first plane and a scale fuse heli, don't think I can manage a 3rd project...LOL.

I've owned nitro and electric boats. I actually traded Ray Stacy a nitro boat for my first Lite Machines heli back in the day. Just remember James, all boats can do is go straight and turn.... gets pretty BORING! I sunk a nitro once in Lake Ontario in the middle of Feb. had to wait an hour for the waves to bring it in.

Haha no nitro boats for me. I used to run my parents hobby shop and had to work on nitro boats and test run them all the time. The electric boats are getting very fast and I like the idea of tinkering to get better handling and speed out of one. Plus a buddy has a tunnel hull and I we made a deal where I had to get the same one to keep racing close and rely on setup and driving. Btw driving one at speed especially a tunnel hull with an outboard is way more challenging the you think. There more to it the straight lines and 180 turns.

Hey I was playing with that plane at my LHS today. Ya technology is insane. My LHS has a big dual hull with twin brushless motors and twin Water Cooled esc's... Crazy

I used to race fast electric boats... It was a blast.
I may order one of the inexpensive ones from HK... Just to relive the good old days

Don't do boats yet. My son wanted to get into them together, then he decided to stay with cars, trucks, truggies. Along with planes & helis. Mostly trucks for him though. Getting a boat for me would be easier to play with than my big planes. I have to go about 20 miles to fly them. There are 8 nice lakes within 10 miles of me so there's plenty of water.
