I wonder if Cliff will ever have a "micro" Chaos. I think it would be cool like the mcpX. A little baby Chaos...LOL. Actually thought about painting my mcpX canopy to match the Chaos....LOL.

I would like to see that. I love my mCPx for what it is, but I can't get half the performance out of it that I see some guys do on YouTube. I am definitely ready for a more capable micro.

Yeah, I think alot have to do with the radio being used...like I know for me using the "DX5", I won't get anything out of it as I can't adjust any of the pitch or end point adjust. So my adjustments are limited, I think with a DX6 and up you'll be able to do alot more. Did you check out the videos I posted under "everyone needs a mcpX"? Some cool upgrades on there.

just pulled my mcpx outta the desk today and got her all tuned in...Man this thing is fun....Very picky on what settings you program in tho....That would be a good Idea to run past him...Who knows it could be a possibility....make it a bit more rigid and performance oriented....Im in for the purchase of one...

Yes, that is what I was talking about when I mentioned the you tube videos. I have a DX8, so can program it as required. A few guys have flown mine that can do well with it, but it takes a pretty steady thumb to keep the tail from blowing out. It would be nice to have a better tail setup to keep that from happening.

I know right, I think everyone and their grandmother is jumping on the "mcpX parts band weagon". Seems like there are plenty of companies out there now offering upgrades for it. The only issue I see with all this is that the whole reason I bought this bird in the first place is so that I have a 3D capable micro heli to pratice w/o worry about crashing and having a high cost in replacement parts. So if you go and do all these upgrades (even though its fairly cheap but does add up)....whats the point, b/c before you know it, my cheap mcpX will cost close to $400+.

Pretty much my thoughts as well. I wish HH would come out with a more capable brushless mCPx. I am no where near needing a heli with the capabilities of some of the ones in the wow videos, but I would benefit from a better holding tail.

I've seen a few companies with upgrades for the tail to prevent it from just that. If you want to do it yourself, there's a youtube video who shows someone upgrading his mcpX with a SR120 tail motor. I think the whole reason for these blow outs are not so much of the electronics but the size of the motor/tail blades (not strong enough). UPDATE....found the video..... He's not such a great spokes person but he gets the point across, here's his video on the conversion......
