well my chaos showed up just a few days ago and i have to say wow. I am reletively new to this hobby as i own and presently learning to fly on a storm 450 fbl. The size of this heli. is the first thing to hit you, the canopy is huge and the graphics are killer. As for the airframe and mechanics they too seem impressive,i have read in some forums that there were servo issues and maybe gyro issues as well? in any case if you have any info , i can use all the help i can for this build and from what i have read on posts , each and everyone of you share invaluable info. for all to use,

Welcome to the site and congratulations on your new purchase. You came to the right place. PLENTY of people here to help!
Myself being a micro guy at heart when I opened up the box to my 600 last week I was blown away! First three things that stand out and realize this is a real bird: The beautiful canopy, huge tail boom, and the torque tube transmission.
Enjoy Chris

Wait til you get it put together! Then the size will hit you all over again! Enjoy! That happens to me every morning I walk into my office to get ready for work and see it hanging next to my 500 and 450. Which look like a 450 and a 250 next to it lol

thanks everyone, really appreciate the welcome and look forward to asking many questions and getting answers, great group! Ill be starting my build sometime in near future and heres my first question of many, my goal is to do scale and was wondering if the stock electronics are up to the task, no 3d here just basic sport flying. What battery should i be using, as im looking for max flight times, also what battery charger, ive seen many from single to quad to fast to slow chargers, somewhat overwhelming! ok that was more than one question haha. thanks all

There's guys that do 3d on the stock setup so I can't see a problem putting it into scale! There was issues with the gt9 gyro but this I beleive was sorted ages ago. Is this the one you have? Im using stock myself but I have the gt90 gyro running on 5000 mah 6s. I tached it at 1800 rpm and I am getting 7 mins flying sport with ease. I will be putting on a more powerfull motor for more headspeed at a cost of flight teimes but the slower headspeed might suit you for scale. My battery www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=8590My charger which I really like apart from the noicy fan which I still have to sort www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=17753
