3F Pilot,
"I could not find a build post but have a question on the instructions. My buddy has a 600 and we cannot figure out the frame. The control shaft bearing, the one that is pressed into the carbon fiber. The instructions as far as we can tell show the larger diameter of the bering, the cap,on the outside of the frame when built. As if pressed from the outside in towards the center of the frame. If assembeled this way the levers are fairly tight but still moveable. If we put the larger side on the inside it is really loose and the shaft slides left to right a little. We also dont have the control shaft collar. i am looking at page 10 of the manual. Maybe we missed something or my eyes are fading"
You probably have resolved this question a long time ago, but just in case:
It has been a couple of months since I built mine, but if I recall correctly, the frames should be assembled with the control shaft bearings pressed in from the outside. The two outside (aileron) bellcranks should be free to move independently of the shaft and each other. The center bellcrank, which supports the elevator function, is the only one that moves/rotates with the shaft. There is a set screw in this bellcrank which locates it on the shaft laterally (the A-Arm portion is to be centered so that the lower ring of the swashplate is centered on the machine.
Does that help?

There is no additional control shaft collar to be found cause its made into the arm itself. One of those things that is slightly different than the Trex manual. If there is a small play, you can add a shim to help.
