About ready to order a 600...still a bit torn but had a question. If I got a Choas I'd probably get the Pro with the 630kv Scorpion motor and go 12s. I'm a little confused about the ESC options. What's the difference between the "Castle 85HV" and the "Phoenix ICE 80HV". The Phoenix option is the one that had the recall right?
I keep getting very close to ordering a Align 600EFL but man...this option would be $300 cheaper... I could afford serveral crashes for $300...
Thanks!

The diffrence is of coarse the 5 amp diffrence, But the Ice version of the esc's have data logging. Being able to follow how many amps, wattage and voltage ect.. on your flights. All the esc's that got recalled Cliff sent them back and got the new updated versions from castle. you should have no worries with a esc that you choose!

There are a few more advantages to the Ice that the Phoenix doesn't have, like built in governor and a few other features. I would go for the Ice for helis.
