Well my 600 has arrived and I am happy as can be - Bought the SuperCombo as I am new the electric scene and this is also my first Heli - I know nitro well but wanted to reduce some of the variables until I get a feel for what I am doing.
Bought a Aurora9 for the radio and been practicing/learning on my Phoenix trainer
Unpacked everything and noticed that the bearings in the frame (bell cranks) had a fair amount of carbon dust in them - Didn't appear they would be too happy if I removed them from the frame to clean them so I thought I would ask what others have done
also was expecting all the metal to be bare metal but quite a bit of mine came painted black and the canopy is different than the pictured - looks kinda like the one on the 700
Waiting for some tools to arrive and I still need to buy a seperate BEC (probably will get the CC 20 amp) - and then buy my batteries/Charger/Power Supply
will use a 30C 6S 5000mah battery
Getting excited

Congrats osidak, and I will be watching this thread as mine will show up in a few days. I ordered the basic kit, so will need to add all of the electronics. Let us know how your build goes.

Will do - will probably snap some photos along the way - Noticed a few of the veterans around here are from NC as well so I might try an meet up with one once I get her built so they can check her over.
Have been flying planes since I was 12 and started teaching others to fly when I was 13 and became the official test pilot at that time as well. If it was a new member with a new bird I checked it out and flew it the first time to make sure nothing was wrong. I am about to turn 39 so been around a while but never attempted helis until now and I am just a beginner all over
Good luck with your heli Chipwich
