Greetings,
I'm fairly new to this hobby, so this will be my first build and I will definitely be taking my time. I was shopping for the best clone, almost bought a Gaui, but in the end settled on the Chaos due to the owner feedback, and my desire to get into scales one day. Looks like a bunch of like minded folks here.
I live in Atlanta, am a low time Private Pilot with about 200 hours in Pipers and Cessnas, have jumped out of perfectly good airplanes 451 times, and have about gazillion hours in MS Flight Sim. Flying helis in MS Flight Sim got me interested in RC helis, but was a perpetual fence sitter until the guys in my office started having cubicle wars with Syma 107s. Went through a bunch of those, and currently own a Walkera GCP, V120D02S, and Devo 8 tx.
I'm sure that I'll have a bunch of newb questions along the way, so thanks in advance.
Dan B.

Yes, welcome chipwich! You will love the Chaos 600, any question...ask away...we're all more than happy to help out. BTW, about the "taking your time bit"...never works out...once you dive into it, you'll lock yourself in a room till its all done...LOL. No but seriously, take your time and enjoy the build as that is part of the fun in itself.

Thanks for the words and we'll see. Even though I am old codger at 54, I've got a one year old daughter. This past weekend I snuck downstairs into the den to get a quick flight in. So there I am poised to launch with little heli in the middle of tile floor, my Contour camera strapped to my head with an Olivia Newton John looking headband, big a$$ radio in hand, when my wife steps into the room, gives me the look, and says, "Am I going to get any help today?" Busted. Just received an email from scaleflying saying that my order is waiting to be picked up by the carrier. Yippee!

Welcome aboard. You will like the 600. I have not flown mine yet but the quality is good. I am finishing the build right now so if you have questions, let us know. I am sure you will get some sound advice here.
