Has anyone had an issue with our canopies rubbing the main gear? I noticed mines pressing firmly against it on the one side?

Has anyone had an issue with our canopies rubbing the main gear? I noticed mines pressing firmly against it on the one side? Most common issue with that is from packaging, it can be slightly deformed from sitting in the box. It's a very easy fix though, all you'll need is some newspaper and a hair dryer. First, stuff the inside of the canopy with some newspaper but don't over do it..just enough to expand it to where it'll clear the main gear from rubbbing. You can do this easily by measuring the space needed inside the canopy with the main gear. Second, just heat up the canopy a bit with the hair dryer but again...don't over do it as you can possibly damage the canopy with too much heat. Let cool for awhile and it's done!

what i did was extend the rear canopy mounts a 1/4 inch out with a small cut aluminum tube that i cut and a longer bolt

Ok ill give the newspaper trick a shot first. Dont really want to mess up the fuselage though I just cut a couple pieces of foam and would jam them along side the main gear and leave it in the sun for a while, then store it that way. After a couple of weeks, I no longer need the foam.
