Grand job. On my maidon the blades also tracked perfect. That shows how good the blades are and thight tolerances on head parts.

Absolutely pleased. I have to go back through and work on my curves still but amazed how smooth the maiden flight went. I am a true RCA fan boy! My 600 comes this week!

Yea same as. I had a quick flight this morning before it pelted down and had to increase the pitch at 3/4 stick. Still as bit to do. I first flown the 450 and that decided to flip on its side at full throttle just before take off. The rx is knackered so new one on the way. Then I flew the 500 all going well till I heard a whinning noice. I knew it was coming from the motor and thought the bearings are gone so decided to land and just before I was at landing mat something flew off the heli so I dumped it to ground. No big deal as I was only about 4 foot from the ground at this stage. Turned out it was a paper "wee" label on the motor. When it heated up it came loose and was hitting on the frame. Phew. I would have been major pissed off it both heli's played up.

Woohoo she flips and rolls... ;D
It was misting rain out but I couldn't stare at the 500 on my wall anymore. After getting the new battery and all new connectors soldered on yesterday I was dying to fly it.
Got the first three 3D flights in on it today. I did not put the first video in the video. The first one consisted of trimming and throttle curves etc... Hopefully get some better videos soon. I was by myself so i had to use my iKam glasses Enjoy

How are you getting on with the Hype motor do you recomend it? I think I will need to get another unit as I cannot get the Turnigy to work properly. I am also looking at the Scorpion 3026-1600kv which I can get for 72 dollars ex ship. I think RCA out out of your Hype motor have to double check that.

Liking it so far. Only had a few flights on it due to the cold and rainy weather. Seems powerful and comes down cool. One thing I don't like it doesn't have a flat spot for the pinion screw to sit on. 2nd test flight I flipped her into idle up about 30ft and did a stationary roll next thing I know she was falling to earth quick. I flared positive at the last 6 ft and slowed her down enough to have it bounce a few times. All is well I pulled the motor and dremeled a small flat spot for the pinion screw.

Wow at least you got it early and you were not inverted. Im suprised that motor had not got a flat spot on the shaft. Weather very good here today I am goinf to try more settings with mine. I hate things like that getting the better of me. It runs fine then spluts and farts like the Gov gain is too high. I tried it without Gov and lots of other setting and still the same. Will see.
