Has anyone used the rear trays under the tail boom to mount their gyro and apart from protection did they notice any difference in performance? Im waiting on some parts shortly and I have a "to do " list and moving the gyro is one.

The tray is ment for the gyro as it keep's it away from bearing's which can cause vibe's/tail wag ..You won't see a performance difference in any spot as long as the gyro is flat and level/90 degrees ..

Thanks.....thats what I was thinking. But I dont see many with it on the trays and when I bought mine ( ARTF ) it had it mounted on the top of the boom with the wires facing the tail. I was going to swap it round and have the wires coming towards the main shaft direction but I might just put in on the top tray and receiver on the bottom.
