tommy158, that is a superb looking fuselage. Are all the mechanicals stock? Is the paint all as per the kit or have you added extra. For $29, or even the full price, that looks like a bargain. Nice photo as well.

Bob.... i did very little paint to the canopy.... it is 99% the way it comes.... i did paint the nose black and some of the fake windows... although i didnt have to.. in fact i think it looked better the way it came !!!! lol.... as far as the mechanics go it was originally a exceed blueray..... then over time i replaced main gear... gyro with a gy48... servos with t pro 90 on cyclic and a corona forget the # on the tail... oo and a alpha 400 motor and 40 a hobbywing esc.... you also have to install the wood base for fuse and wheels... for lipo access i left the winshield off... i have small velcro pieces to attach it... it has opening on bottom but its easier to attach lipo from top for me... i think the sale @ rc aerodyne is only this week.... there winterwonderland sale !!!!

Nice....$29 is a steal...that would double by the time freight was added to get it to OZ....I really really dont need another heli...certainly after my new one arrived yesterday, but I do like that A-109. When I started with rc helis, I said I would never go scale, 'cos crashing hurts too much. A pod and boom type is an easy and relatively cheap fix, but a scale heli is like crashing a fixed wing....straight into the bin. But now that I seem to be able to fly a lot longer between crashes they are looking like a lot of fun...
