Chris,
Nice I have the 600 and could not believe how good it looked. I have been kicking around getting the blue one in a 450 size. I am looking at picking up a 450 and a 500 from cliff in the next week or two. I am going to put the chaos 500 in the little bird so I can keep everything from RCA when I take it to events. Good luck on your build any help just ask.

My build is delayed because of some hardware problems on the CopterX, so might be following your build...
But hope to have the problems fixed tomorrow, and then I can start on fitting the CopterX in the fuse, which should be pretty straight forward...
Will see how it all goes!

I can't seem to slow down... Gonna be working on the "Build Manual" this weekend. I knew I could get a 450 Pro inside of it. Only thing people need to purchase to make a Pro work is longer screws for the tail fin

chris, looks awesome how does it fly, you running stock electrics with it. It is a Chaos 450 Pro Super Combo for $299.99 from RCA The only change is the gyro but that is because she is my 3D bird. Deciding if I want to get another 450 just for the scale fuse. Definitely flies heavier than a 450, had to trim it out and move the battery forward. i plan on buying a 3000mAh pack and making a custom battery try. But for being all stock I am very happy. Hope to get some video of it today. Thanks for the kind words guys If this was my first scale helicopter build like the Align MD500 I did a few months ago it would have taken much longer. I plan on turning my 500 into a scale bird in the next few months. That will take some time, bigger bird, unfamiliar fuselage, 4 blade head, and lights..... ;D I think I am spending more time on sorting the pictures and making a "How to" build manual Here was my Align 450 Fuse

Chris, You blacked out the windows on both MD500's. Did you use tint or paint them black on the inside? Looks great. Drev.

I painted the insides of the plastic with Tamiya Color black paint for car bodies. I blacked them out cause there is nothing worth looking at in a 450. No room in them for scale cockpits. At least not the 450 pro.

Chris,
Yeah car body paint has come in handy for some of my plastic as well. I paint all my rc car bodies with an airbrush and I use tamiya.and pactra paints. They make a tint paint that you can have different colors of shading on the windows. Your 450 looks good I think RCA has done good with carrying that paint scheme. There are so many guys that were painting that scheme before RCA came out with it. I like it so much I'm going to get the blue one in a 450 size.
