Are you using 3 axis stabilization or with the hinged 4 blade head design can you get away with a standard heading lock gyro? Thx

I put a BW just to see/check it out, prior I was using a spartan quark, make no mistake either way rock solid!!! not muck of a difference at all, with spartan tail rock stiff!!! With BW a tad mush but its perfect for scale.....

If the headspeed is low enough it is possible. On my 450pro g-jive I ran a spartan quark before I got the BW. Plus I believe the head Matcin choose it based around a standard gyro.

Yes you can use just the tail servo on the 500 size heli with the plug'n play head, however with the 450 you can as well but keep in mind the added lift. I would recommend you minimized top end pitch. I will post pics of a 5 blades head on a 450sz heli with a 401 gyro, the spartan will be much better... Call me if you want to talk about it...
