Here are some pics of mine and Eric's build progress. The only bad thing about glueing it is, you are screwed if you need to take it apart... I used 5 min epoxy, built up the center tabs so the platform was wider there, filed it smooth and TIGHT.... I came up with a better solution for that loose carbon mount, i just simply left it off! I am going to mount my gyro right on the trans. gear box, no difference than my 600 which doesn't have a mount to start with.

let me know how that works out Sure will, after messing with it and trying to figure out the best way to install it w/o using any kind of glue I just decided to leave it off. I really don't see the point of having it on there. I wouldn't think mounting my gyro on that plate vs. mounting it on the trans. box makes any difference. I can't imagine the vibrations would be any less or more between the two mounting areas.

it will pickup more vibration if you do that ... and by the way I did not glue mine I made the holes the proper size as shown in the video for it to all fit flush the way it is suppose to ...

OK...after some more thoughts and advise from some of you guys, I decided to add the carbon mounting plate back on the frame. I basically resolved the sliding side to side issue by adding a thin strip of 3M double sided sticky tape on each side of the bracket between the two slots. I just really didn't want to apply CA there and not because I don't think I can pull it apart again cause I believe I can but just did't like the mess that it'll leave behind if I ever do decide to seperate it.

ya it didnt work for me either. I got it to fit in the frame holes, but when i tighten the frame together my mount doesnt get tight, its not wide enough to be wedged and held
