I have got a couple of flights on the mechanics for the tiger so far and I still have a few things to sort out before they are ready for the fuselage. I am using a chaos 600 with a 4 bladed head and waiting on the 3 bladed tail rotor to get here so I can install it. I have used the 3g in the past in scale machines with ok results, so I am using one in the tiger for now. If I can get some info on the rca fbl unit I may try one of them. I will post some pictures of the mechanics and the fuselage details in the next couple of days.

I am looking forward to those pics donnie170. I have yet to fly my mechanics for my UH-1N using the Chaos 600 as a base. I would appreciate anything you find along the way that may help speed up the setup. I am using a 3GX, so pretty similar to the 3G. That Tiger is a mean looking heli....Cliff has so many nice scale kits that a person could go nuts for years building them...I need to get rich quick... That pic with a snap-on tool box and an old Douglas in the background is great.....do you mess around with fullsize aircraft like myself?

A couple of pictures of the detail work on the Tiger. I am the dom for a corporate flight department that has a couple of Gulfstreams and a citation that is used for business. They also have about 15 other airplanes ranging from a stearman up to a ad4 skyraider. We have a p-51 in australian markings.

Fantastic donnie170...you are a lucky man. The P-51 would be my all time favorite aircraft...just a very beautiful thing and you cant beat a Merlin for petrol burning music...well....that big radial in the Skyraider sounds awesome as well... I am a shift leader for line maintenance and a production leader for the heavy maintenance on my shift for a regional airline. We have close to a hundred aircraft in our company, the airline division operates just over fifty SAAB 340's. Was your P-51 originally from Aus, or just in Aus markings? A number of them were pulled out of a desert in the north of our state in the late '60's and some were shipped to the states. They were parked and flew out of a General Aviation airport just a few kilometers from me here. I was only a kid at the time...but they were the only Mustangs that I have actually had the pleasure of sitting in. Nice work on that Tiger...it makes my work look very amateur...

not sure of the history of the mustang. The people we got it from said it was a austrailian airplane but you never know with airplanes like this, it could have been built from a dataplate. I put the last test flight on the tiger mechanics before they go in the fuselage. After 8 minutes flight time it took 2200 ma to recharge so I should have plenty of battery left even after the added weight of the fuselage. Using 2 5000 ma 5s packs.
