Wow, I am also a Ham Radio Operator, 3rd one here so far. Electronics is also a hobby, but also do it at work, so it is not as much fun as it used to be. Still mess with planks, but heli's are quickly becoming my first love, always wanted to fly one as far back as the 80's with the Hirobo Shuttle I gave up on. Into jet-ski's, sailing, off road jeeping with a restored M151A2 military Jeep the Wife and I restored. My Wife is also learning how to fly Heli's along with me. Do you know what Confucius say about girl who fly helicopter upside down?

Motorbikes! I have had a few with the last few being Goldwings which I traveled around most of Europe on. The one I have now is the only bike I want as it does everything and I bought it new in 99. They were only made for a couple of years in the US. It's a Honda Valkyrie hense my handle name. 1520 cc six cylinder, six carbs and six into six exhaust so I'm six mad lol. I would love to ship it to the US some day and do route 66. I'm starting to get into airbrush work but that is on the back burner at the mo. I'm also into my gadgets. Attachments:

Anyone else into building plastic display models? Here's my recent and future projects: Testors 1:72 Heroes of the Sky Gift Set #2: These were paint and snap together. Took me about a day per plane between diaper changes, nap time, etc... Pros: paint included, detailed instructions, no cementing required, display stands Cons: the BF-109 colors were written in German, small plastic paint trays are not labeled (had to play open the lid, dab some paint game), no black paint (hence the grey props), no landing gear Testors 1:48 P-51D from 1988 Pros: details, optional rocket pods and drop tanks, decals for 2 different color schemes Cons: decals were so old that they tore apart when trying to slide off the paper, instructions not as detailed as modern day versions of this kit I received this kit from an in-law who bought it used. The kit was missing 3 pieces, spinner back, pilot seat, and one main wheel. Due to the decals breaking apart I had give up the Old Crow markings and make the display look like the plane is undergoing maintenance at the field. Kits to be built: Fujimi kit of the Aichi Type99model11 D3-A1 "Val" this one will prove to be fun as the instructions are in Chinese or Japanese Revell kit of the F-84G Thunderjet Instructions don't mention putting weight in the nose to keep it sitting on all 3 wheels until the optional step to glue the clear support bar in. I'll be looking to add weight to the nose, my experience with the clear support bar on a Black Widow model was not positive.
