Trying to fit one more build in before the flying season begins and Hailey arrives. It is the same MD500 as the (500) I just finished only 600 size with four working doors. Here are a few pics. Will probably start it in a few weeks after the other wraps up. Parts all laid out Skids and pipes glued in The 600 behind my 500 Makes my AS350 (700) look small My new helmet

Dang! Looks like you can fit the 500 fuse inside the 600. Can you say "BIG"!

Dang that looks good, almost makes want to forget about the Huey fuse and go with one of these. I need to get the 600 finished and in the air first though Batteries are getting ordered next week and the new motor the pay after that. Then its just finishing the setup and its ready to go.

Looks like I'll be selling the fuse a a show.I F%*KING Done...I finished radio setup this afternoon, everything came out great! I had just finished programming the ESC, went out for a test hover and... BOOM!!! WTF Got about two feet up into a hover, had a slight gain tail wag, lowered the throttle to set her down and about a foot off the ground it went full negative and exploded. The impact ejected my THOR pack through the main blades, the boom case snapped off of the frame, boom, TT, and tail blades are toast, the FBL head, main shaft, servo horns and links destroyed... Luckily looks like all electronics survived because the battery unplugged instantly! My guess is a link gave out somewhere in the head causing indefinite self destruction With the baby coming I'm not going to rebuild. Will prob just sell off all of the good parts. Sorry the build could not go to completion, I was really looking forward to it This was a sad sad $350+ Opps 5min prior to test flightThis makes me sick to my stomach! My poor THOR pack So upon final inspection it looks like the torque of the carbon fiber blades and 700 size head caused the elevator horn to strip out causing the helicopter to go full negative and just eat itself up. The main blades hit the battery like a baseball and cut the tail gearbox in half... Should have spent an extra few bucks and used metal servo horns like I always do

Awww man sorry to hear about your misfortune tonite! After speaking with you on the phone tonite i was a little worried you would have some troubles trying to get the esc programmed! I know exactly how you feel as i just went through a similar event this past weekend with my castle creations 100amp esc going thermal!! The heli gods have not been good to us the start of this season!! Keith

That hurts so bad but don't sell off the fuse right away. Give it a couple weeks and step away from it, you never know you may regret selling it in haste. If you still want to sell it after the cooling off period let me know and I will make a fair offer, being that it is new and unused.

I dont know if I ever publicly posted it on here but after shippng my 700 Bell 206 News Chopper to a friend a few months ago the post in shipping f%#king crushed the box destroying my baby! I won't ever ship another fuse bigger than a 450 again! That's was a 2 1/2 month pissing war with the post office to get a f%#king refund. R.I.P my Bell 206

Ouch, thankfully I have never had a problem with the postal service other than a package showing up a month and a half late. The business had already sent me a replacement and it arrived a week earlier than the original
