The kit came with a Roban 3 axis gyro. I was able to get in touch with Cliff and as it turns out the parent company in Tarot. He sent me a couple links to help with the wiring and beginner settings. Here's the links for people getting the super combo kit and need better instructions than the supplied: www.infinity-hobby.com/main/download/ZYX_111012.pdfThe issues for me were just how to hook up the 3 wire pig tail that comes out of the gyro (see pic). I'll be getting to it again later today. hopefully everything else falls into place. BTW, I've been reading that for most 3 axis gyros the TX needs to be setup as a single servo swash mix. Is that what you use? These instructions don't say to do that but, I didn't know if that was some kind of insider tech tip. Attachments:

Can't help a here I couldn't get the software to load on my computer or to get it to work with my Spektrum. So I switched to the BW. The XYZ is a decent beginners FBL gyro. Chitty has one on his 450pro. Sorry I can't help you I have the BW, BeastX, Naza H, and Mini V-bar on my birds. I'm still trying to learn FBL units! I miss the simple Spartan Quark days but the new FBL software helps setting up a ton!

I stuck with the Roban 3 axis gyro that came with the super combo kit. As it turns out it's actually a Tarot gyro so I used the Tarot software to do the programming. I could not get it to program without the software so it was well worth the $5 to buy the USB plug for this gyro and use the software. I took some screen prints of each screen to help guide anyone using the stock equipment and a Spektrum TX. The first screen was changed slightly to the following: Roll/Pitch agility from 30 to 33 Tail Gain from 70 to 75 L Yaw from 30 to 33
This all works very well in an indoor environment. Hoping to get outside soon with it and get a test flight in. Flying inside I had no bad tendencies nor any oscillations in any direction.

Awesome! You get it flying yet? Put a couple flights on mine last weekend. I think tomorrow will be a G-Jive day!

Well tried to post my screen prints but it's not taking??? I'll try again later. Yeah I've flown it inside at work a few times only because every time I get a chance to fly it's 15-20mph winds down here. For comparison here's a pic with my 450 sized MD500 and my 600 sized Airwolf. Just to put some perspective on the 470 size. postimg.org/gallery/4ajdv92y/aba3b1b7/I editing - Chris: Select Thumbnails for Forums (1) so it shows like the picture below

Chris,
I am considering one of these 470 size AS350's. Do you think I could get two Pulse 3s 2250's up there in that nose area? I believe the dimensions on this battery are 104mm x 33mm x 26mm.
Good videos. Keep up the good work.

Nipe you need to use the 6s pack that RCA sells. It's the only one that fits under the cabin.
