Thanks to a link from Joe, I am posting a few videos from these folks called "Team Black Sheep"
I am amazed at how far these things can go, got me thinking of getting one down the road. Check out their site for more videos....Enjoy!

Just saw this post now Doc. I have to say the last video using the flying wing is my fav. I use a 42 inch screen with my PC and it makes you feel like superman flying! I think my younger brother might get into it after seeing that video. Might get into it myself. It would be a lot cheaper than going to multi copter route.

That is pretty wild! I was flying along with my transmitter in hand to see what it would be like.

It looked like he knew every corner of that flying area. It got me really thinking though.

Are these setups expensive? I am guessing the FPV system alone is alot. I am guessing also we can do a plane or heli this way as well?

More thoughts on this FPV system, I am guessing one can't perform 3D using it? LOL

Ok, this video answers some basic questions I had on FPV systems.

I have seen a few of his videos. I like the idea of his helmet but I'm not sure how you would focus your eyes on something that close to your head. My download link is 5.8 www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=15295I have not tested the range on it and I may end up putting the clover leaf on it. You can buy them or make yourself or you can buy one the has a proper cover on it so it looks better and it will be a bit more sturdy. If you want a plane I think this would be good. The problem is with a plane you might want to extend the range on you TX because a mile will come up quick so you end up spending maybe $300 doing that. www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__33298__Phantom_FPV_Flying_Wing_EPO_Airplane_1550mm_KIT_.htmlI reckon the setup in the video I gave above you could do for less than $1000 which would include the $300 fatshark glasses, quad and radio download link. If you notice he does not go anywhere near 1 mile in that video so he keeps within the 1 mile range of the TX.
