And right now for $20 more you can get a 130X with two extra batteries, an extra set of blades and the metal upgrade bevel gear. Man these little helis are getting expensive.

I noticed a little tail twitch, must have been a bit of ground effect going on. They still have butt ugly canopies though. I wonder if the 3 in 1 board will work with my brushless motor, if so I may have to grab the new tail for mine. I am sure it is lighter than my dual tail motor setup.

Put a few more packs through the mCPX today. This thing is powerful and has a rock solid tail, finally a mCPX I like! Also took the 450 out for a "quick" flight. Note to self: Don't do skid bumps in 7degree temps! Doh, I hate winter

I took my MCPx out for a quick flight, I converted to brushless and dual tail motors. Had a blast doing touch and goes in the snow . Might have to do it some more this afternoon ;D The MCPx is so easy and fun to fly.

That's Awesome George! Learning that muscle memory will make flying the big birds that much easier.

Never did get out again, by the time I finished the few jobs I had in the house it had started to rain Flying in a bit of snow is OK, but I draw the line at actual rain. Its getting dark now so that kills flying for today as I don't have enough indoor space to fly a brushless MCPx. Instead I am going to install the flaps on my P-47. Had the servos for a week now but wanted to use them to help with the layout on my Cub. PS nothing from the mailman yet

I wasn't expecting anything till the end of the week at the earliest. Flaps are installed on the P-47 now. Set the speed at 1.2 seconds. They don't snap down and have a nice scale look as they come down.

It looks like the little thing has enough power anyway. What is the flight times on it? It must be more than what is in the video.
