Guys, before the winner is announced here is the correct answer we were looking for. Distance = Speed x Time
...so, Time = Distance / Speed
Substituting known values of Distance = 115 miles and Speed = 205 mph,
Time = 115 miles / 205 mph.....therefore Time in hours is.....
Time = 0.56 hours (this is rounded but you need to keep the numbers in your calculator)
So Time in minutes is..... Time = 0.56 x 60 = 33.6 minutes
Distance = Speed x Time
Here the Distance is the altitude and the speed is the rate of climbing.
Substituting rate of 380 feet per minute and time of 33.6 minutes
Distance = 380 x 33.6.... Distance = 12,790 feet.
So the altitude of the plane would be 12,790 feet.OK then, lets get to the winner for the "RCA PROMOTIONAL CONTEST"!..........and the winner is (drum roll)jesses151Congrats Jess, please pm me your shipping info. so I can forward it to Cliff. Thank you to everyone that had entered and hopefully Cliff will run another contest soon.

WOW!!! Like I said before, this is the first time I've ever won anything! I think we all can agree that this site and the Chaos brand has been a blessing. Cliff has brought a very expensive hobby within reach for many people and Andrew has brought us all together in this forum to share our experiences. I thank them both for everything they've done. Not to mention the fact that there are contests like this that raise a lot of enthusiasm for the hobby. Thanks again Andrew for providing us with this forum.
I can't wait to get this heli in the air!! The hard part is deciding what paint scheme to go with....any votes? I'm leaning towards #3 becuase it's nice and bright against any background. #2 is a close second among my family and friends.

I know you'll enjoy this 470 size AS350, looks like a pretty sweet heli. We'll all look forward to your build thread here. As for all the nice comments about me, thank you very much but I can't take all the credits as there are others on here such as Chris, Joe and other mods. helping out and making sure this forum is running smoothly on a daily basis and it goes as far back to the start with Jeff doing all the leg work on starting up this forum....But most of all, it's all you guys "the members" here on the lounge that makes this place a cool place to come for help and have your questions answered. It's the members that makes this forum to what it is today and hopefully it will continue to be just that for all of us and all new members to be.
