If you have the Gov on the ESC switched on turn it off. After that I would replace the grips as mentioned by Chris. After that the replace the servo.

To my knowledge the ESC does not have a gov. But still have been unable to track down the instructions for it. Does not behave like it has one.
New tail grip assembly is on the way and after that will see if a new servo is needed.
Going to try and see if I can get home early enough to play with it today outside and see if the wag has gone away since making the pitch links looser

While I am waiting to hear back from someone who may have the programming manual, you may want to shoot an email to Phoenixtech and see if they can send you one. Here is the contact email info.

Ok here is an update
Short story - The twitch is 99.9% gone - it will still twitch if there is a noticeable change in head speed but I think it is normal to some degree.
Ok - I got the new tail grips and noticed that they had some run out to them. That did not have the verticle movement the originals did but it was like it had a bent "feathering" shaft. I figured what the hell - I will try them. Replaced them. Checked to see how well they moved when the servo was not hooked up.
I also put another shim in place on the main shaft to remove all verticle play I had them. It was minimal but what the hell - I saw the shims finally and I bought some.
Test flight - linear pitch curve with a pretty aggressive climb in throttle until I hit 80% and then a more linear curve. Twitch was gone.
Bumped the gyro up to 45% and the twitch was there - backed it back down to 35% and it seems pretty happy.
Almost made a very unplanned landing it was most likely an auto as it was. my low battery time was about to start chirping and I lost all power and I was coming in no matter what - I imagine it was like a hard cut in power.
Landing was a little bumpy and I still was moving forward pretty quickly. Checked the battery and cell one was at 2.93 cells 2 and 3 where reading 3.74. Not sure if I just lost a battery or what happened. Currently doing a slow charge and then I will do a couple of cycles on them and see what happens
