Guys, FYI! Just placed an order with ReadyHeli for some lipos for my mcpX. I could not turn down this deal as the price is insane! Chrome Lipos for mcpX.....only .99 cents.... YES, you read it right "99 cents" from the org. price of $3.99. I Couldn't believe it when I first saw it. I just place my order for 8 of them suckers. Get some if you need it but I would suggest to do it soon as it won't last long with that price! www.readyheli.com/CRC25-220-Chrome-220mAh-1S-37V-25C-MCPX-Lipo-Pack_p_39244.html

Ok so my order from ReadyHeli came in the other day with all the goodies I've ordered from them which were basically a ton of the Chrome lipos for my mcpX for 99 cents each. I also went ahead and placed an order for a set of replacement skids as well and NO...not b/c someone said I needed them cause they looked stupid but I realize the extra weight was eating up my flight time. Also, since my SR120 tail mod. I am a little undecided if I want to keep it. The biggest problem is that again...it eats up some of my flight time due to it's heavier weight. Yes, it seems to hold the tail a bit better than the stock mcpX's tail motor but with the extra weight and being power hungry I think I can do w/o it to be honest but we'll see. Oh boy, there should be enough lipos here to last me for awhile!....the new look, it's multi colored now...LOL.

Paint your tail boom the same color as the skids & you will have a whole new mcpx paint scheme!

I need to see it too as I am losing my eye site...LOL. Side note, wouldn't you know it but this is the last time I am buying KBDD skids. I flew it outside today and landed it somewhat hard but nothing that would of casue damage but sure enough my brand new skids cracked! Damn it! It wasn't cold out today as it was in the 70s here and like I said the landing was not a really hard landing but for some crazy reason, the stupid skids cracked. I am wondering if the material KBDD are using is more brittle than the stock eflight ones? Oh well, a little crazy glue and a little hot glue to reinforcing around it did the job. Hopefully it will last.

Hope it holds for you. I seem to remember reading on RCG that the consesus was that KBDD uses a more brittle metal for their parts. Oh, when I have these little mishaps some plain old Guerilla brand super glue can't be beat. That stuff holds everything!

KBDD does not use any metal. All their parts are plastic. From what I've played with the stock skids were always the most forgiving and pliable. I had a buddy that would dip his skids in the plastic tool handle dip. You could also try this creative mod. Or go back to the tuff set you made Drew.
