Hey, Happy New Year! I thought I'd update you on what I decided to do. I popped on a Flymentor 3D unit and added that to my 600E. I'm working on getting it isolated from vibes, and making sure it corrects in the proper direction, etc. I'm having a challenge getting it to correct properly in the nose up/down attitude, or the elevator, however, the aeleron attitude is working just fine, and all the stick movements work as they should. So, I'm taking my time with it and getting it right before I take it out and fly it. I'm here in the great white north, and it's definitely winter here right now. I'll have some time to get it right before the weather breaks. Lots of Sim time also right now.
Once I have confidence in that I have it set up correctly, It will take some of the pressure off learning my inverted orientations.
I purchased the 12 video Learning 3D series from SmackTalk 3D featuring Bert Kammerer. I'm hoping this more structured approach will help me advance my flying skills by helping me focus more on learning to fly the important basics.
Hey Chris, Thanks for that Crash Kit. It's exactly everything I needed. The T-Shirt and Towel are great. Hopefully I won't need the cry towel after a crash.
