Is it o.k. to have a high spot in the motor pinion? Is there a limit? I think that is causing a lot of vibration in my Chaos 600.

Check for side play between pinion and shaftwhen the setscrews are backed out. Make sure there is no play in the motor bearings. If those things are good and the pinion has unequal contact with the maingear during rotation, replace it immediately.

Is th4e pinion the right size for the motor shaft? If your pinion has a 6mm hole, but your motor only has a 5mm shaft, the pinion will be offset by about half a mm and will cause a lot of vibration.

I'm using the stock motor and stock pinoins that came with the kit, however, I found that the 15T pinion has less slop on the motor shaft then the 16T pinion. For now I'll use the 15T pinion for that reason. I hope I'll still have enough HS so there won't be any head/tail wobble.
