How well does the tail hold? OK, just kidding - I'm putting together a 600 version and was wondering about the tail pushrod. I see yours isn't installed yet, what is the plan in yours?

Golden Rod kit by sullivan, just like I did on my 700 size Bell 206 for the tail. Works good on the Bell.

Its Sunday afternoon and I'm doing a bit of research so a couple of questions!!! 1..Does the tail really need the "golden rod"? It looks like it has enough room looking at this pic of the foam insert that goes at the end of the boom. I could be wrong and I don't want to delay a build process by not doing my homework. 2. I may end up going 4 blade head. What E Stab are you going to use? I have read rigid heads don't like E stab. Thanks Chris, and thanks lovely girlfriend for this lovley fry up in front of me now lol! That will make me thristy for the pub later :-) Attachments:

The problem I had was the tail servo and arm hitting the back of the fuse so I had to mount the servo full forward and vertical. I am sure you could use a rigid control rod. I like the golden rod because I can jam the fuse full of foam after for vibration purposes. I am going to fly it with my Spartan Quark gyro and see if I can get away with out e stab. P.s. your RX/sat is packed and getting shipped out tomorrow

Looks like house renos have been keeping a few of us from doing other things. I am nearing the end of a full reno here myself, pretty much down to a 1 room a hallway and stairway left to do myself. I decided to take a couple weeks break from drywalling and painting, but will be getting back to it next week .
