Decided to go nitro for my next build so just spoke to Robert to get the order sorted out, couldn't have been easier. Looking forward to adding a few more threads in this section, far too quiet over here

I'll certainly post photos during the build and give some feedback on how it performs. Definitely looking forward to this one

The kit has just arrived, not had time for more than a quick glance, but initial reaction is that the quality looks fantastic and there seems to be all the little extras you might not expect. There is even a muffler included which was a pleasant surprise as it wasn't mentioned on the web site I'll be busy for the next day or two but then I'll start posting some photos.

I'll probably keep it simple and put in an OS50 that I've got sitting unused on the spares shelf.
I also have a TT53 and an OS55HZ-R which are in other helis at the moment, but as long as the OS50 works OK I think that will cover it for now.

Build has started, no major issues so far. Canopy is a little deformed and has a couple of dents and a small crack in the paint, I'm not bothered though as I think it will be OK once it is actually mounted on the model. I've encountered a few examples of the wrong screws being provided, but nothing I couldn't fix from my spares box. The front canopy mount screws were 2mm too short and both the jesus bolt and the screw provided to mount the FBL head were incorrect as they should both be fully shouldered but were not. No other issues so far and general quality seems to be at least as good as Align products if not better

Another couple of days on and a few more screws/washers missing ... Not a huge deal in a cheap kit, but it is beginning to get a little irritating as I have to stop the build when the missing item is something that isn't in the spares bag and that I don't have to hand. Also the lack of a manual for the LE version leaves a few questions unanswered, even using the Align LE manual isn't a lot better as that has a number of inaccuracies as well Still nothing I can't figure out as this is far from my first build but someone on a first build would likely get tripped up here and there with the way the parts and fixings are not bagged in the same way as indicated in the manual and in some cases are simply named incorrectly in the manual or just not there at all in the bags. Still the basic quality of the parts remains good, no complaints there, just getting a little frustrated at the time lost due to the missing screws/washers.

Good news, I found 4 of the missing screws in a completely unrelated bag from further on in the build Bad news is the control shaft appears to be just slightly too short so there is absolutely no play and the aileron arms bind. Checked that all bearing blocks completely tight and properly fitted, checked bearings fully located in aileron arms, even measured the control shaft and it come to 88mm as it should. Tomorrow I'll try swapping in some genuine Align parts in that area to see if it helps. I suppose a small thin 3x5mm spacer would also work, but it shouldn't be needed really.

Problem mostly solved. Using the 0.5mm washer instead of the 0.2mm cured most of the problem One side is still a little rough, not fatal but as the problem is the bearing in the frame I'm going to live with this one and keep an eye on it to see if it frees up or gets worse.

I am glad you're getting all those little bugs worked out but if you should come across anything major or something that can't be worked out..please PM me and I can see if they will be able to replace a part for you unless you get a hold of them first. Please keep us posted.
