Ok it's not a Chaos 450 but a crappy Align but I had to put this somewhere! I spent a lot of time trying to get the camera to work on the 500 but I could not get rid of the vibes or Jello affect so I stopped. The amount of time could have finished my main project on the 600. The other day I tried the camera on the 450 and after a bit of effort I got it to work. I think it's down to the higher headspeed. Anyway the video is just a couple of clips I put together from a few flights inbetween showers this weekend. It is only to show the video quality so I hope you enjoy it. Ill do another better one at some stage.

Cool video bro! I am assuming that is your family and I see the wall near the backyard where you've done some videos before as well. BTW, very appropriate music choice...U2 being in Ireland! Good job mate!

Thanks guys. One of the problems with a camera on the heli is the auto light adjustment. The camera uses the center of the image to determine the amount of light but when used here the center of the image is usualy the horizon so the camera keeps adjusting which makes the picture go dark and then light. On aother note my 600 AP is on hold for a few weeks. I'm thinking of stretching it to 700 and upgrading parts and everytime I think about it the cost goes up. The bill so far will be 400 euro but I got few thinga on my plate including a wedding shortly so it's put at the back shelf for now. Doc them girls are neighbours and the kid is my girlfriends. That's my home with my sisters to the left. You can just see the football field way past that house which I also flew in. I think a bearing is going in the motor. That is not due to the camera though.

I finally had a chance to look at this, I like it. Well other than the music, I never have liked U2 ;D Everything is so lush and green there, it not fair. That river shot would be my favorite part of the video

Well you had your chair in your video so I played U2 hahaha. It's lush and green here because of the rain then sun then rain then sun. And that's in the so called summer! When people from your side of the pond come here they are also amazed how our beef/lamb/chicken/mike etc tastes. It's all related. I put the same camera mount in the same poition on the 500 yesterday and the video was unwatchable. The camera suits the highter RPM heli's.......or planes.

www.ebay.com/itm/HD-Jumbo-camera1080P-DV-Video-camcorder-Full-HD-Video1920X1080-H-264-MP4-1080-/220956379824?pt=Camcorders_Professional_Video_Cameras&hash=item337206cab0This is the camera I bought with the extras. You will also need a Micro SD card I bought an 8gb card local. However I only use 720p on this camera as it drops frames on 1080p so if I was you look at the 720p one. After about 50 different setups on my 500 I could not get rid of the vibs. I had enough at that stage and one day I just "threw" it on the 450 and got great results. I never bothered making a proper "eye pleasing" mount for the 450 and left as is. These cameras dont work too well with heli's and are more suited for planes and baseball cap mounting. With the bigger heli ( 500 and 600 ) there is lower vibs and this is what I could not get rid of. With the higher HS on the 450 it worked ok. Attachments:

Some mount the camera upside down and use software to flip it the right way around. I did not want this as you loose quality do to been " lost in translation" I get the heli ready and pull the camera down on the elastic band to press the button and off I go. There is also a small hole on the camera to see what mode it is on. As these are covert cameras the hole is tiny so others cannot see the LED. I reemed out the hole so I could see easily what mode the camera is. Have fun! Attachments:
