Finally got around to mounting the BW gyro to the 600. Here are a few pics of what I've done so far.... I've created a custom mount by using one of the existing trays that is below the tail gear box. I done this because I wanted better access to the BW incase I needed to make some adjustments once its inside the fuse. Here is what everything looks like connected. I guess I could of made the wiring looked alittle better from the BW to my RX but I figure it'll be inside the fuse anyway which no one will ever see. Next step...programming!

Nice practical mod with the tray Andrew. I have the same feelings about wires in fuses. No one will see them so I just secure them and get on with the flying.

Nice work Andrew, you are a natural at this scale stuff...it lets you innovate as much as you want. Wires on the outside are good.....it's kind of interesting to see the progression of heli builders from their first ones to many helis later. The first ones have wire all mesh covered and hidden...looks nice...not practical. Later models, wiring everywhere...not that pretty, but easy to work on and easy to fix. Wire on the outside I say... I liked your weapons too...looking good.

Well....here is an update on my progress, other than waiting on a retract servo the BW is installed and setup but may need a bit of tweeking I think. My test hover went fine except its alittle on the twitchy side...more than I am comfortable with. I've always liked it with a bit of expo added, now I just need to know where to add the expo...on the BW or Tx? Finally my 600 is FBL now!

Discovered something really cool this morning. As you all may know, I use an A9. Awhile ago, I made a comment about wanting my retracts to move more scale like. I needed a retract servo to move a bit slower than normal which someone suggested a "servo speed reducer". I found it on HK for real cheap but going through some videos on the A9 this morning, I discovered that there is a feature that does exactly that. There is a tab called "S. Speed" which basically slows down the servo speed by the adjustment per your input. Very cool....problem solved!

That is cool. I wish JR did something like that with the 9503. Then I could make the retracts on my warplanes look more scale.

Now that is a handy feature. Don't forget to put a vid up of it bud. I will for sure but it won't be anything too exciting as I just started forward flights on my mcpx and I'll be damned if I am going to try that on my newly builded Airwolf...LOL....I am sure some day soon but just not now. I will show off the retracts for sure though when I make the maiden video. Latest update.....I think I got the BW pretty much dialed in and figured out that adusting the expo from my radio works out fine (thats not to say adjusting it on the BW won't work, I just didn't try it). Now, I just have to find some time and stuff it into the fuse and wait for a retract servo....after that...I should be good to go. Stay tune.......

Hey, Cool! After reading this I got to looking closer at some the the advanced features on my 9503. In airplane mode it does have built-in servo reducers on the channels. Now I can make my warbirds look a little more scale .

Latest update! BW is pretty much dialed in and ready to go into the fuse. As soon as my retract servo and nav. light system comes in, I will finish her up.
