Your project is coming along great! I like the idea of "bluing" the pipe, looks very realistic (hate it when my motorcycle pipes turn blue) lol.

Id put a blue led or something above and behind the pilots heads to light up that lovely cockpit area. Looking good so far Doc I'm looking forward to see it in the air.

I like the LED idea and may just do that but also I wanted to do nav lights too so we'll see. Slow progress but its going...wait until you see what I working on for the weapons area. Stay tune...

Hey just adding my findings... In order to put the mechanics in and get the proper fitment I found that following the instructions will get you int trouble. I glued the spacers and put everything together in the fuse only to find that the spacers were too tall. So i mechined some Nylon blocks that were about half the thickness of the spacers.

Just for reference, here are some pics I managed to get from RCA from a V1 Airwolf that Cliff had built. As you will notice the Trex mechanics were attached to the fuselage without spacers. Not sure how they did that. Also notice the mechanics are pushed back in the fuse to were the front edge of the mechanics are flush with the front edge of the fuse. This makes for a good look with the rotor head lower to the fuse.
