Pic to come later but my heli hangar consists of: Blade mSR Align Trex 450XL Skyartec WASP v3 (250 class heli) Maybe also, this will get email notifications working for me on at least this thread. Gotta add 2 more helis to the hangar now. I now own one of each of the FORCE R/C helis. They're the ones HH sells that shoot IR at each other. I won the combo set from RC Heli Pilot Magazine's fall contest. Totally forgot I had entered, so when I got a mysterious package from HH's Shipping Manager yesterday and the FORCE R/C Combo pack was inside, I was confused. Checked the email and in my Spam folder was not spam, but a congratulations you won email. I was 1 of 50 winners.

Would you please let us know how you like it as I was somewhat curious at one point to see how well it actually works from their claim. I mean, as far as from the quality of flying to using the IR feature to fight each other in the air. Thanks!

Would you please let us know how you like it as I was somewhat curious at one point to see how well it actually works from their claim. I mean, as far as from the quality of flying to using the IR feature to fight each other in the air. Thanks! I got 2 flights on each of the helis last night. They come with one 120mAh E-Flite single cell lipo each. I had a few extra 110mAh ones lying around. So I threw them on the Celectra 4 port charger. Flying wise, they are exactly the same as the mCX2. Very stable, easy flyers. Just like the mSR the manual says you can move the dog bone links to balls that are further out on the swash plate for more control. I haven't tried this yet. The stock TXes that come prebound to the heli have 2 trigger buttons, a left and a right. There is a preprogrammed 1 second delay between each shot. During flight and fighting, you can use either the left or the right trigger button. The TX has a built in speaker that does the gun fire sounds when the trigger button is pressed. The helis come preprogrammed to the "Green Team" which means Free For All when in combat. Manual has steps to change the team color to blue, red, and back to green. I tried this once, but all I ended up doing was having to rebind the heli. The TX feels like a large XBox controller in my hands. The control sticks are not setup for the pinch technique, I tried, but just did not feel right. Compared to my Dx6i and Futaba 6J, the sticks feel loose and sloppy, but as stable as the CX is, it doesn't really matter. There is also a battery charging port on the TX, but being I have the 4 port charger, I won't be using the built-in port. The one down side I have is that the plastic bodies prevent the pilot from seeing the 5-in-1 control board flash when LVC is hit. The only way you know LVC hits is when power is reduced. The manual states during combat the first hit will cause the heli to spin once; second hit, two spins; and 3rd hit spins while throttle is cut for 10 seconds. Then the hit count resets. Only way for me to test this at this point is to put one in a hands off hover while having another do the shooting. I plan on taking them out to RDRC's Papa Smurf's Indoor Fly-In on January 25. I'm open to battling with fellow pilots and letting kids who want to, try flying them.

I fly out at Flying Tigers of Jordan Lake, NC. You should come to the indoor fly-in in Wendell. The flyer is on RDRC's Flying Giants thread.

It is a blast to fly. No metal parts but the solid tail boom and supports make it almost indestructible.

Very nice... I have read that the metal main shaft tend to bend when crashed. Would be interested in what you find.
