I'm hopeful that I will be able to order my 6oo Super Combo Kit next weekend. I received an e-mail from the support team saying these combo kits will be arriving June 30, next Saturday. I have cash burning a hole in my pocket just waiting to spend it on a new Chaos 600 Super Combo Kit. I'm as bad as a kid at Christmas. I'm looking to use a 5000mah 6S 40C Lipo with a separate 2200mah 6.6v 2C Life pack for the electronics. I have a Spektrum DX6i Tx with the ar6210 Rx. Does this sound like a reasonable setup? I'm not going to do any 3D right now, atleast, not until my skill level improves. I've been logging many hours on my Phoenix sim since March, and I still get dumb thumbs. I've been wrestling a Blade CP around the yard, and I seem to be able to handle it OK.

Curious thing I noticed in the "600E builds itself" video you posted. That kit shows 3 main shaft bearing blocks going in, 2 above the main gear, and one below. I noticed the instruction booklet I printed from the website does not show that bottom bearing block below the main gear. Do the newer kits not have that 3rd bearing? I was also looking at putting in the trex 600 Pro bearing over the pinion, but it doesn't look like there is a place to put that in the Chaos frame. I would think that bearing would reduce the stress of the motor bearings. Does that require a special pinion gear? Sorry for so many questions. I've had lots of time to read, and think about this build.

I've had lots of time to read, and think about this build. The manual you downloaded from RCA is a manual for the Trex 600 which is what you'll need for the build, that said....welcome to the upgraded Chaos over the Trex. The carbon main frame is thicker and wider in space so a bigger motor can be fitted if so desired to run all the way up to a 12s setup. The Triple main bearing blocks are a standard for the Chaos as well, all the metal parts are aircraft grade 7075 also. Everything is basically an upgrade from the Trex 600, all parts are compatible so the motor bearing you're talking about should work. I havn't known anyone to upgrade that part but it should be fine as far as I know.

If you download the Trex 600 ESP manual along with the 600e manual & refer to either depending on which part of the heli you're assembling it should be a little less confusing. The Chaos takes the best of the 600e, 600ESP & the 600nitro to make it a better bird. Hope this helps you out. Drev.

OK, I have another battery question. Will the electronics, mainly the servos, included in the Combo Kit handle a separate 7.4v Lipo pack instead of a 6.6v Life? Some servos work a bit faster with 7.4v.
