As many of you know some of the heli's in the Chaos line have a wider distance between the frames, thus making any KDE or any other CNC upgrade unusable. I am curious how many people might be interested in CNC aluminum upgrades? These will be 7075. I can't give any more details, this may not even pan out but I'm going to give it a shot. I just want to know if there would be a lot of interest in the parts or not.
Thanks guys

I don't think the 600 needs anything. Maybe a CC bottom plate but to be honest I don't think it will may any difference to it apart from adding weight. The 500 could do with a metal tail boom clamp, and metal ends on the tail boom supports. Again not needed but they would be nice just to finish it off! Have you thought about making a bracket to put the tail servo in the back of the frames on the 500 and 600?

What kind of upgrades are we talking about? Basically the same upgrades that KDE makes except wider to properly fit in the Chaos frames. Adjustable motor mounts, bottom plates, battery trays, servo mounts, etc.

I put KDE CNC bottom plates on both of my 500s and my Chaos 600. I have put them all into the ground at one time or another. Minimal damage. The 600 had to be tweaked back straight. It was a parallelogram after the last crash. Straightened right up and is flying great.
The KDE plate had to use the spacer kit to fit the Chaos but that has worked just fine.
The CNC upgrades are a great idea forge forward!

There were few ppl in concern due to the base plate being out of stock. Well, I recommended as an option to either go with the KDE or a Trex base plate and just add those spacers that RCA carries. Since you have em, maybe shed some light on that subject if you have a minute...I know "Condor" added his momments. Thanks! BTW, here's the link to make it easy....... chaoscrewlounge.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=600e&action=display&thread=475

Im game for all upgrades that are shiny and are the right width too!
