That's bad news alright lads. I don't think you will get it quicker here all you can do is contact RCA as they are the ones controlling the stock. That or send a PM to one of the Crew and they might get you an answer, but at the end of the day it will be the same answer you get from RCA.

Guys, I know the pain on waiting for a replacement part but another option would be to go with a Trex 600E bottom base plate and add spacers...just as you would if you went the KDE metal upgraded base plate route. I myself do not have an answer to when this or other parts will come back into stock. Sorry....

DR. EVIL,
what spacers do you suggest, I have no problem using a different bottom plate, but I want it to be strong. The 600 pro is the same width but it is made of CF and it has a different way of mounting. And I know I wont get it any quicker here, in fact, that doesn't even make since, and I did call RCA and all they could say was sometime this month...

I'm cool with sometime this month but my bird isn't grounded. I just hope they get plenty in stock so they aren't running out again....same with other parts. I would order from them all the time if they were stocked. I do worry about the strength part as well with adding spacers. Seems like the only thing that would be touching the sides is the spacers and wouldn't be near as sturdy. Can anyone comment on the strength if you start using spacers with all these parts? I'd like to upgrade some things to metal but I don't know about having spacers all over.

Kinda weird that they have the frame kit with the bottom bracket in stock but not the bottom bracket alone

Guys, You can use spacers but you'll be replacing frames if you have a light crash ..If you look at the bottom, you'll see the square nipples sticking out that fits into the square's on the frames..Them help stiffen the frames along during a crash and thats what keeps them from breaking. They also keep the frames from flexing when it hits hard... The screws help a tiny bit, they mainly hold the bottom plate on...Look at the plastic the screws screw into..Its not thick and if you add spacers, they will rip out of the plastic easy which lets the frames flex when you crash.. You need the right bottom plate because them squares sticking out of the bottom blate that fits snug in the frames are there to keep the frames from breaking on impact..

That makes sense about the strenght of the base/frames.
Hey Doc.....can you contact RCA and tell them to expidite that part in? I know they have a lot on their plate at the moment with so many new products coming out.

I know they have a lot on their plate at the moment with so many new products coming out. Currently Cliff is overseas and not sure when he'll return. That being said, again i don't see an issue with using the spacers that RCA carries for using any other brand base plates if you must need it. Take a look at their website, the space is so small, I do not feel it would make a difference as far as strength is concerned.

I think Ill wait for the correct part, will have to get a few to keep in stock, I love my chaos but I hate having to rely on getting some of the parts at only one website. And before anybody says anything, I know some of the parts are compatible with some of the Trex helis, but not all parts are that way.

Ok, here it is...I've included a video that talks about adding spacers when you either do an upgrade with a KDE base plate or if you decide to go with a Trex base plate instead. Take a look at the video starting from 5:15-6:15, it talks about adding those spacers. I've also included a few pics. curtesy from RCA of what those spacers look like (The website shows that they're currently out of stock but I was just informed that they are not). Again, this is just a suggestion if you do not want to wait for the org. Chaos 600 base plate. www.scaleflying.com/INSTALLATION-KITS-FOR-AT600-SERIES-PRODUCTS-TO-CHAOS-600-SERIES_p_2207.html
