G, can't wait till you have your 8s setup and it taking air. I never got a chance to say but the boat was really cool too so I am sure the new improved one will be even better.

I did some modifying to the original design of the boat. Lost the big heavy tower for the motor and went with a lighter aluminum one that sits almost 1 1/2" lower, made aluminum rudder brackets that are much smaller, and cut a good 3/4" of off the sides to make clearance for the prop. It is also a pusher now. Along with cutting out most of the internal ribs so I can mount the electronics as close to the bottom of the hull as possible, I think I may actually have the CG below the water line but it did sit very high in the water to begin with, even sitting still I think it only sank in about 1/2". Right now all that is left, other than installing the electronics, is to put on the new deck, re fiberglass everything, and new paint. Still waiting on the electronics to show up, but not so speed post has finally handed the package over to the airline so I just may see the package by late next week. I would hate to see how long it would take if I hadn't paid for EMS shipping I wanted to get everything lined up for some pictures today, but the weather didn't cooperate and doesn't look like it will for a few days now
