Nice! Is that an RCA fuselage? Please give some details. I was looking at that in yellow for my 450 but they are out of stock on it.

jombo, are you/were you Navy? My son is in the Navy. Stationed at D.C. I also have the blue & silver 500 ec135 from cliff. Don't have anything mounted in it yet. Maybe the Chaos 500. I just really wish someone would come up with a fenestron unit that works well!

Very nice Jombo! Love the "night vision" shot of the blades with your screen name on there...very cool. God....all these awesome looking scale fuse blasted all over this forum, I am gonna have to pull the trigger soon on a scale project myself. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for posting!

doc121, i wasn't . i hope your son stays safe . the best reason for the TT tail is for these scale projects . all my scale bodies use them, just setting the tail up your taking it in and out . with a belt its a nightmare , but a TT just slides off . Dr Evil you definitly need at least one , try the 450 size , you'll like it

it has transformed into EC135 RED BULL this is take 1 of 2 , the first test dosent really count since the gyro needed reversing lol . that could of gotten ugly fast . i still need to adjust the controls , its really twitchy . i need to lower the ailerons and elevator a bit , i have them still set at default (50%) which is around 8* maybe more.

i got 500 fuselage yesterday from RC aerodyne . i ordered the MD 500D white gelcoat because i wanted the front to be white and the back i painted blue . now i need to add a state trooper stripe and add some stickers that i will make up . my hands are still blue from painting last night lol .

Does the white gelcoat finish look good enough to not be painted if you want a white bird? Drev.

Oh yea . the white gelcoat is perfect if you want it white. i just scuffed mine up with 600 wet/dry sandpaper and shot it with primer , then painted it blue. you would be surprised that white in the air is pretty hard to see on a overcast or white cloud day .
