Finally, my next project is known, the AS350 fuse that I want is still not in stock, so I had to put that on the backburner. But this fuse is ordered and should arrive in a week or 2... I hope... Isn't she a beauty! Hardware will be a CopterX 450SE v2 again, just like in the Huey, but this build is pretty straight forward, no painting, no raised tail, so should be done much faster. Will stay with the standard rotorhead with flybar for now, think the blue aluminium will look extra nice with this fuse... Time will tell! Stay tuned!

Frame is threadlocked and the servo's are in, decided to to try and install all the electronics first, and then contimue with the rotorhead and tail, this way I should have more room to make the wiring a bit nicer. On my other builds I first installed the servo's and then continued with the tail and rotorhead, leaving me with the problem of getting my wiring in the way I want it, let's see how it goes...

When you put the tail rotor on the left side can you still use clockwise rotation of the mains? I realize you would need to twist the belt the other way to still have the tail blades turning up into the mains wash but is there any thing else that needs to be done? Thanks, Robert

If you put the tailrotor on the other side it will be better to have the mainrotor run counterclockwise... This is for maximum efficiency of the tailrotor.
In order to do this you will need to have the motor run the other way around and you'll need to put the oneway bearing in upside down...

Liking all the BLUE blings on there. Is that how it comes or are all those blue washers and stuff purchased separately?

That looks sweet. I always liked the shape of the 500. It looks like it is going fast even on the ground. I promised myself not to go scale again a few years ago after my 450 Wolf took a radio glitch and went full throttle to the roof. I spent so much time on that thing and I never got a chance to really enjoy it. However...........looking at this I could be tempted. Keep the pics coming please. My 450 is also anodized blue and I love this colour scheme.

Qmaverick,
When you get the fuse post some photos, I have a 500size little bird and a 600 size red g jive. If I get a 450 the blue g jive will probably be my next purchase. If the 450 paint quality is like the 600 you are going to love it.
