First test hover this morning-a complete non-event. No issues at all. Need to tweak the BeastX a bit, but I will have to take it out to the field to do that. Only change was moving the canopy a bit further forward to accommodate the two 6s, 3000 mah batteries. Balance is very good. Good machine! Very good RAK, glad it went well. Let us know how it does after your tweaking with the BeastX. I still need to find time and install and program my X. Add some pics. or video if you can, we would all love to see whatcha got. Thanks....

JR 8317's on cyclic, 8900G on the tail. Compass 6HV motor with HobbyWing 70 Amp HV ESC (12S setup), TracX FBL head and BeastX, KBDD Tail Blades and Dampers. Completed this evening-hopefully will test fly tomorrow. Wow - awesome heli. I would like to see some more info on this - maybe pics and or video. I have the complete combo kit that I intend to upgrade with an AR7200BX and a 12S Scorpion motor after the first of the year.

I do wish that BeastX/Spektrum receiver combination was really coming out this month. I have a Fusion and a "nitro to electric" Odin conversion, that I want to install it in.
Test flights were uneventful. It flew right off the bench, needing only a bit of tweaking of the BeastX and the rudder end points in the TX. I have about 18 flights on it. No problems at all, so far. Aerobatics on the first flight after the initial hovering one (very small backyard, so I am limited to hovering-I had to take it to the field to fly it around). Tail hold with the BeastX, 8900G and KBDD EE Tail Blades is superb! The machine is quicker than my Trex 600E was, even though the motor/radio/electronics were just transferred from the mortal remains of the Trex to the Chaos-I suspect the Chaos' wider frame is stiffer and also lighter than the Trex.
