Currently I have a completely stock super combo kit that I will to maiden tomorrow. I have a Scorpion motor that will make a killer 600 12S setup, but that will wait until I get a little better on the sticks.

I went with the belt drive tail so had to get all the electronics separate. Servos are Align DS610 cyclic and DS620 on the tail. Motor is Align 600MX 1200kv ESC is Align 100amp and went with a CC BECpro RX is a Spektrum AR7000 Gyro is Align GP780 but having tail wag problem so I installed the GT9 that came free with the kit but have not flown it yet.

Very nice set up there....nice and neatly wired. Do you have the V3 GT9, if not...just be alittle cautious b/c there were a few issues with the earlier versions. Just didn't want to see you lose your tail. That being said, there are plenty of ppl out there still using them w/o any issues. Just thought you should know.

Thanks Doc. One of the reasons I have not flown it with the GT9 is because of the reports of it failing or glitching. I got mine back in early spring so I don't think it's a V3. Is there a way to tell? I went with the belt drive tail so had to get all the electronics separate. Servos are Align DS610 cyclic and DS620 on the tail. Is there a way to tell? Mine says "03" in the back, not sure if thats just a number reflecting to the "QC Passed #" or does it actually mean "version 3". Take a look at yours and see, I am curious.

I have not setup yet....But I always just set everything parellel and level starting with the arms to swash, making sure swash is level, then the mixing arms level then pitch is at zero....Ill do some searching tonight and see If I can turn up a manual for us...

JR 8317's on cyclic, 8900G on the tail. Compass 6HV motor with HobbyWing 70 Amp HV ESC (12S setup), TracX FBL head and BeastX, KBDD Tail Blades and Dampers.
Completed this evening-hopefully will test fly tomorrow.

First test hover this morning-a complete non-event.
No issues at all. Need to tweak the BeastX a bit, but I will have to take it out to the field to do that.
Only change was moving the canopy a bit further forward to accommodate the two 6s, 3000 mah batteries. Balance is very good.
Good machine!
