My GT-9 failed today. I had just pulled it off the ground and the tail started to jump around. I set the 600 right back down and now when I power the 600 up the tail drives to full pitch and doesn't move. I intend to install an AR7200BX when they come out so the 600 maybe grounded for a couple months now. I think I am going to pull the GT-9 off my 600 before something bad happens. Havent flown it with the GT-9 but I don't want to take the chance. Guess I will go back to the GP780 and try and make it quit wagging. Hey, good news - the gyro wasn't bad. Turns out the tail servo wires aren't making good contact with the circuit board. I installed a Align GY780 and everything was looking good, but it did the same thing as before when the 600 was pulled into a hover. By jiggling the servo wires where they go into the servo, the servo arm will jump around like crazy. I'll take the servo apart and fix the wires, but it will not go back into the Chaos.

chumley, good find....I agree completley (spelling)...I put the gt9 on my 450 and have not had one issue.....I guess I should look into a better tail servo.....I was planing on changing it out in the long run anyway...
Thanks for the headsup....

Thanks for the headsup.... Actually, I think the servos are fine - mine just needs a soldering joint to be redone. The servo will fly again, just not in my beautiful Chaos 600. ;D
