Will programing this unit be similar to the Beastx with the colored lights for each step? Is there going to be a usb option? I might have missed it, but are there any estimates on pricing?

USB cable included, as for pricing..I think it's around $100 as a special for a limited time as soon as we get the word on the software to program it, it'll be announced here.

Thumbs up for including the usb cable. Is it listed on the website yet? I looked earlier but didn't see it.

Thanks ;D Sorry guys, not sure what the hold up is but as soon as I can get an answer...I will be sure to reply back here. All I know is it really shouldn't be much longer, I know the gyro itself is physically at RCA but I think they're sorting out the programning of it last I heard. Hang tight everyone....

OK as promised, here is the latest info. on the BW gyro. After talking to Cliff yesterday, it is said to be released sometime right after this month's giveaway. That means we are looking at sometime between 4/17 - 4/30.

There is going to be a scale option in the future with preset points. Right now some of the scale guys have tested the unit on 6 1/2 foot scale birds. IF you take a look at Rovpilot26 flight vids of his md500 700 size he is running the BW in his setup! but so far this unit is amazing and still getting better!

Any pics on the GUI? I have been programming a zyx via USB using john_nz's software. I hope that the bw support will be good (can't hurt that the people selling it speak English as a primary language . Will this unit support sat's or will it need to run off of a standard rx?

i have to say , i was a bit worried trying FBL . i went ahead and and loaded the software to the computer walked through the directions and it was done . now i understand why everyone is saying flybarless is easier to setup than a flybar head . you really don't do anything , the computer does . now answer me this ........ Why did i buy the 8FG if i wont be using any of its features
