Picked up some trex600 landing gear today...seems like a lot of people have had trouble with the factory gear so I wanted to be safe.

Here's mine for the 450. I can't find the 600 one! A lock colar for the main shaft. Just slide it into position and lock the bolt. Attachments:

I did end up getting a leveling tool. Do you have a pic of that in use Valkman?

OK so I am finally getting ready to go back out and do my first hover. Is there anything I need to do to the ESC or the gyro to set them up? or are they pretty much set from the factory?

Double check everything.....and don't forget to check the blades are facing the right direction! If you don't have much flying experience I would get someone who has to maidon it or make up or buy some training gear. Best of luck I would love to see the video....... Mattox might have ment BEC voltage but that might not apply to your setup.

OK so I'm going over everything 100000 times. Working on the head setup now. I have checked 1000 times and all links are set to factory spec. I leveled the swash and put the head back on. This is what my geometry looks like! Terrible! Should I have to adjust this much?

seems like I need to shorten the link between the fly bar control rod and the washout arm a ton and it just doesnt seem like I should have to go that far from factory.

mine is flybared so i am not sure if this will help you. i try to get my blade holders 90 and try to lock everything strait across without the links on , then measure the links to fit . but again its with a flybar and may not apply edit : never mined about the flybar , you have one too i just noticed lol .
also, depending where the servos are and the links, i never go by the manual.
