Looks like an issue with your gyro.

awesome! lol I am also having a weird issue. My swashplate is hitting when it gets to the top. I have all links within a mm of what the directions say. The fly bar control area doesn't all sit even at mid stick. Everything seems like all the links are off but I went with the align 600esp directions. What do you think is going on with the gyro?

First off, did you use a swash plate tool to make sure everything is level? If not, you diff. need to. Secondly, the gyro...make sure its setup to go in the right direction. Also, check your gain on the tx...if its too low, it'll be in rate mode and not HH mode which can cause what it seems on your video. Lastly, when setting up the tail...make sure everything is 90 degrees on the servo and linkages.

This is how I have my gyro mounted. Would this cause it to be reversed?

Ill jump in here Evil of ok. The pic of your gyro is ok but it should be mounted on the gyro tray. An easy way to check to see if your gyro is reversed it to look at the tail servo arm. Now move the TX stick to the left and see what direction it moves. Now put your hand on the gyro and slightly twist it to the left (looking from rear). The servo arm should move in the OPPOSITE direction. If you cannot see which way it is moving turn up your gain but remember to turn it back down. Looking at your vid I dont think its reversed as it usualy turns more violently when it gets light on the skids. I could be wrong. Make sure your servo arm is at 90 deg as Evil said. Looking at you video the tail pushrod is binded which will cause lots of issues. Look under the tail boom from the tail pitch slider to the servo arm.....the push rod should be a clean line. You may have to put your servo at a slant.....this is ok once you have that straight line. "I am also having a weird issue. My swashplate is hitting when it gets to the top" On my DX7 in the "Swash Mix" menu I have aile +60, Elev -60 , Pit +60. I don't know it that helps but I think it's the same as DX6. After that you will need the level tool to set your center points and end limits. You can make your own level tool like I did lots on youtube about this. However you will need the pitch gauge. When you get that far post here for more help. Nice to see it spooled up!

TX Swash setting on my DX7. My end points are still pretty much at 100% with these settings which shows a good mechanical setup up and servos. Attachments:

Looking down the tail push rod. A straight line from tail lever to servo arm. You have a rod guide this may need to be at a slight slant also. Attachments:

chitty 04...sorry for my ignorance, but it sounds as if you have not got a grip on the setup basics yet. That is not meant as a put down in any way...we all are learning constantly. I am assuming that you have set your servos with the arms at ninety degrees and adjusted the links from the servos and bellcranks to the swash to have the swash level with the transmitter at 50 in, 50 out. Next you adjust the links to the blades to have zero pitch on the blades with the swash level. The final full travel of the blades is set using the travel adjust in your transmitter....set the blade angle with your pitch gauge to 10 to 12 degrees and adjust your transmitter to get this angle,,,check the minus with full down stick as well...it should be to within a degree... If you are still having a bit of trouble with the concept.....dont worry..we all did the same thing... This whole deal confused the heck out of me for a while...once you grasp it it is fairly easy... Helifreak has some very good setup videos...done by Finless Bob....that man should be knighted for the good he has done to heli builders.. Hopefully when we get some time, there will be some setup vids here too....in the meantime, keep asking questions...
